The Reverend Horton Heat is a Texas-based trio and the moniker of its front man and singer/songwriter Jim Heath. Formed in 1985, The Reverend Horton Heat offers an aggressive but endearing psychobilly sound that includes elements of country, punk and rockabilly. While the group has found a fair amount of success on the mainstream market, with songs in multiple commercials, television shows and video games, The Reverent Horton Heat gets most of its support from the close-knit cult following that has been around since the beginning, from the band's 1990 debut album Smoke 'em If You Got'em, to its most renowned effort, 2002's Lucky 7.
