Shadows Fall is an thrash metal band from Springfield, MA that was formed in 1995. One of the few contemporary metal bands who adopts lyrical influence from Eastern philosophy and references the Rastafari culture, the band has managed to set itself apart from its heavy metal peers. Although it has experienced several line-up changes, Shadows Fall has been steadily releasing music since its 1997 debut album, Somber Eyes to the Sky.
