Golem

Golem is a melodic death metal band from Southern Italy. Formed in 2000, Ottavio Marzo (guitar), Nicola Esposito (vocals/guitar), Damiano Porcelli (drums) and Alex Martiradonna (bass) came together with mutual interests in bridging the gap between the more melodic and the more aggressive sides of heavy metal. Since then, Golem has seen a couple of lineup changes but continues to create pummeling rhythms that manage to squeeze in plenty of keyboards and discernible vocal hooks amongst the breakneck tempos and electric guitar solos. In 2010, the band released One Bullet Left, its most polished album to date.
