Ed Byrne

Ed Byrne is a stand-up comedian, voice-over artist and actor from Dublin, Ireland--despite not having a huge amount of exposure in North America--stands as one of Ireland's most successful comics. A regular feature now on Irish television, Byrne got his start in 1998 as a stand-up comedian at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he earned the coveted Perrier Comedy Award for his acclaimed debut act. Since then, Ed Byrne's career has skyrocketed, with several successful gigs performed at other festivals, Irish television, as well as five appearances in the US on NBC's now-defunct Late Night With Conan O'Brien.
