Bill Janovitz is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Boston, Massachusetts. He is best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Buffalo Tom. Janovitz has released several solo albums, including Up Here in the Brain, Fireworks on TV, and Lonesome Billy. His music is a mix of folk, rock, and Americana, with a strong emphasis on storytelling. His lyrics are often introspective and reflective, exploring themes of love, loss, and redemption. Janovitz has collaborated with a variety of artists, including Juliana Hatfield, The Lemonheads, and The New Pornographers. He has also contributed to soundtracks for films such as High Fidelity and Me, Myself & Irene.
