Gerry Dee is a comedian from Canada who was exposed to the international stage on the fifth season of NBC's Last Comic Standing. Before auditioning for the show, Dee experienced a fare amount of success in Canada where he filmed the 2006 comedy Trailer Park Boys: The Movie, and starred in his own special on The Comedy Network in Canada. After finishing third place in 2007's Last Comic Standing, he landed a segment on the Canadian channel The Score titled Gerry Dee: Sports Reporter, during which he interviewed prolific sports heroes such as Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and Charles Barkley. His work as a stand up comedian and television personality earned him a 2008 Canadian Comedy Award in the category for Best Male Stand-Up.
