Parabelle, a Canadian rock band initially conceived as a side project by Kevin Matisyn of Evans Blue and Kenneth Nixon of Framing Hanley in 2007, has since evolved into a full-fledged musical entity. After Matisyn's departure from Evans Blue in 2008, Parabelle solidified its lineup and embarked on a journey marked by artistic growth and transformation. Their debut release, the double album "A Summit Borderline/A Drop Oceanic," unveiled on July 6, 2009, showcased their dynamic sound and garnered attention in the rock scene. Subsequent albums like "Reassembling the Icons" (2010) and "Your Starry Eyes Will Never Make Us Even" (2012) further demonstrated their musical prowess and penchant for evocative storytelling. With their base now in Dallas, Texas, Parabelle continues to captivate audiences with their distinctive blend of rock influences and emotive lyricism, as evidenced by their latest releases "The Kill Plan" (2016) and "The Rose Avail" (2019).
