Roy Wood Jr.

Roy Wood, Jr. is a comedian and radio host from Birmingham, AL. As a student at Florida A&M University in the late 1990s, he got his first job as a radio host, reporting news on Hot 105.7, and it was at this job that his comedy career started. When the comedian host from the show before him left early, he would fill the rest of the program with his own jokes and banter. He has since become a freelance writer on various late-night shows and has also been featured on television programs such as Chelsea Lately, Def Comedy Jam and Conan.
