The Blow Monkeys is a new wave band that emerged out of the UK in 1981. After releasing five studio albums, starting with 1984's Limping for a Generation, and several hit singles during the 1980s, the band split up in 1990 so its members could focus on other projects. Almost two decades later in 2007, the original lineup of The Blow Monkeys reunited with the announcement of a sixth studio album, Devil's Tavern. Released in 2008, the record was well-received by fans as well as critics, who praised front man Robert Howard's vocal performance. The Blow Monkeys continues to record and perform new material, including 2013's Feels Like A New Morning.
