The Standstills

Toronto-based duo The Standstills is comprised of Renee Couture on drums and Jonny Fox on guitar/vocals. Stripping rock and roll down to its bare elements, the band uses only these few elements--and a hefty dose of distortion--to create hard-hitting, gritty rock songs. With live performances known to assault the audience with aggressive instrumentals and poignant vocals, The Standstills has won a cult following in its hometown and steadily has spread this fan base throughout Canada and into the US.
