Formed by four college drop-outs who decided they would rather play music, taking the more artistically-fulfilling route toward a profession, instead of through the textbooks and degree that university would offer, Sandman Viper Command is a Burlington, Ontario-based Canadian band. With songs ranging from sunny indie rock tunes, akin to Vampire Weekend, to grittier garage rock anthems, the young band has made a name for itself on Ontario's independent music scene. The group members locked themselves up in an isolated barn for six months to record its debut release and their dedication paid off, as Sandman Viper Command received positive press from many Canadian publications after its release.
