Luton Town is an English football club that features in the English Football League Championship, the nation's second tier league. While the club was founded in 1885, it has spent a most of its years in the lower divisions. Its enjoyed its best run of success in the 1980s when it featured in the English First Division. In 1992 it was relegated from the First Division and since then it has not featured in the elite league.
