Author, lecturer, and physician Deepak Chopra is internationally known for his alternative, holistic approach to healing. He has written many books on New Age spirituality, transcendental meditation, and alternative medicine. His views on healing bring hope to many sick patients, and he is revered by many people for his work. However, the medical community, rebuke his approaches to medicine as unfounded and unproven. Physicists also have a bone to pick with him for his insistence that quantum mechanics is directly related to the healing process.
