Protoje

Protoje is the stage name for Oje Ken Ollivierre, a contemporary reggae artist from Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica whose parents are both well-known musicians and dancers in the Caribbean. Since being exposed to the sounds of reggae and calypso as an early age (his father was considered to be a "Calypso King"), Protoje has been able to astutely synthesize the traditional sound of the genres with his own unique perspective on contemporary mainstream music.
