Daniel Muller-Schott is a German cellist who was trained by some of the classical music world's more reverenced teachers including Heinrich Schiff, Steven Isserlis and Anne-Sophie Mutter. At age 15, in 1992, he won first prize in the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. Having since gone on to define himself with his inventive approach to classical composition, Muller-Schott is regarded as one of the leading cellists of his generation.
