Paul Scott Levy, better known by his stage name General Levy, is an English artist widely considered the vanguard of British ragga music. A native of North London, Levy launched his career at the age of 14 with the formation of his own DJ group - known in Jamaican pop culture as a sound system - Third Dimension. His initial works were released through London Records and later re-released on the independent record label Fashion Records. Over the course of his career, the talented MC has collaborated with numerous artists such as the likes of M-Beat, Rocco Barker, Mark Morrison, Suggs and Java One Love, among others. His most popular tracks include "Ladbroke Grove (Remix)," "If Yuh Ready," "Champagne Body," "Heater" and "In the Ghetto."
