Spaceships are a Los Angeles-based duo that mixes elements of post punk, lo-fi pop and garage rock into one style. Though its fuzzy soundscapes and adolescent themes summon images of high-school parties, the band's songs also veer into the acidic, heavier sides of punk. Spaceships released its debut LP, Cool Breeze Over the Mountains, on Gnar Tapes in 2013, before dropping a celebrated self-titled EP in 2014.
