Association Sportive Monaco, better known as AS Monaco is the only Ligue 1 football club that is not from France . Its home matches take place at the Stadium Louis II. One of the most dominant forces in French football, Monaco has several Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Trophée des Champions to its credit. It is also no stranger to the European circuit, having been runners-up of the 2003-2004 UEFA Champions League. Its traditional colors are red and white, and thus is nicknamed Les Rouges et Blancs. Over the years several icons have featured for this esteemed club, including Thierry Henry, Jérémy Toulalan, Fabien Barthez, Christian Vieri, David Trezeguet and Fernando Morientes.
