The Celtic Football Club is a professional football team based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded in 1887, the team plays in the Scottish premiership and is as one of the most successful clubs in the country. In 1967 Celtic famously won the European Cup (now known as the UEFA Champions League) becoming the first British club to win the tournament. Celtic has a complicated and long running rivalry with Rangers and the two teams have become known as the Old Firm. Celtic plays it's home games at Celtic Park and competes in its team colors of green and white.
