Erk Tha Jerk is a hip-hop artist from Richmond, California who, since releasing his debut mixtape in 2007, has become one of the San Francisco Bay Area's hottest hip-hop acts. Erk The Jerk continued his rise in 2009 by collaborating with Bay Area hip-hop legend Too $hort on the single, "Right Here," effectively giving the up-and-coming artist regular radio airplay and a placement on the Billboard 100.
