Los Impostors is the project of Mexican electronic artists, Alvaro Arce and Picho Torres. The two paired up in 2008 in Guadalajara, intent on crafting a glossy blend of electropop with a combination of live and electronic elements. Prominent synthesizer work is coupled with funky, live drums and digital house music pulses in Los Impostors' music. The overall vibe is slick, highly danceable and perfectly suited for a nightclub or an all-hours party. Arce and Torres sing in their native Spanish, and a trace of Mexican rock music can be found in the 1980s-influenced electro dance pop that their partnership yields.
