The city of Olympia takes its name from the Olympus mountains that are juxtaposed to the Northwestern side of the city. The city has a strong Native American background, well-planned urban fabric and proclivity for arts. Landmarks like the state capitol, sprawling parks like the Tumwater Falls Park and historic neighborhoods are worthy of admiration.
