Back in 1963 when J.P. Pennington first established the band, it was a rock outfit best known for its chart-topping hit "Kiss You All Over." In 1983, Exile reinvented itself as a country band gaining much acclaim in this new avatar with popular songs like "Crazy For Your Love," Hang On to Your Heart" and "Woke Up in Love." Disbanded in 1993, the Exile reunited once more in 1996 to play the nostalgia circuit. Pennington is joined by Les Taylor, Sonny LeMaire, Marlon Hargis and Steve Goetzman, each talented musicians in their own right.
