The Bristol, UK-based psytrance band OOOD (or, Out Of Our Depth) has been around since 1994 and has helped pioneer using live instrumentation within the confines of electronic song structures. When initially conceived, OOOD was not a united band of four instrumentalists, but as time wore on and audiences started to crave some sort of visual spectacle, OOOD morphed into a livetronica band--adding guitar, keyboards and percussion. This change in 2001 helped create some buzz around the group and ever since adding live instrumentals OOOD has been a noted fixture of the forward-thinking English electronic music scene.
