Chali 2na

Raised in Los Angeles' South Central, Charlie Stewart was brought up by his grandmother, a devout Muslim. Stewart began rapping as a teenager and in 1993 he formed Jurassic 5 with other South Central based rappers, going by Chali 2na. Stewart began releasing solo work under his assumed name in 2004 and has since appeared in a few films, dabbled in painting and proclaimed himself a Renaissance Man. Known for his rapid-fire spoken word style rapping, Chali 2na is an impressive live act and continues to win over fans around the country.
