The Cincinnati Reds are a Major League Baseball team and a member of the National League Central Division. The team was established in 1882 as the Cincinnati Red Stockings and joined the National League in 1890. The Reds were a dominant team in the early 1970s. Known as the "Big Red Machine," the Reds won back-to-back titles in 1975 and 1976. Some of the best players in Reds' history were part of the "Big Red Machine," including Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, and Joe Morgan.
