Tim Bendzko

Tim Bendzko is a German singer/songwriter from Berlin who is known for his mellow pop style. After taking guitar lessons as a child, he began to write his own original material by the time he was 16 years old. The blend of acoustic folk, big pop hooks and emotive singing made him an up-and-coming artist around the Berlin music scene, and by 2009, he was performing at some of Germany's biggest venues--thanks in large part to his success in a popular talent competition. A contract with Sony in 2011 yielded new, meticulously produced material, which has seen his star continue to rise even further throughout his home country and beyond.
